Roguelike

I’ve always had a thing for tile-based games and I want to make something like that. I think this game will be a roguelike-like game. Maybe not turn-based though. Either fully real-time or something in between. Semi-turn-based combat, like World of Warcraft, is easier to pull off in multiplayer, and a secret goal I have is to make this multiplayer at some point. Maybe something like that. We’ll see what ends up happening in the end. Definitely tile-based though.

I’m using Clockwork Raven tiles for now, but I think I’ll end up using these tilesets for a long time. There’s some awesome art there and they seem to release new work frequently. The character sprite is from Pipoya who also has some great work in this kind of style.
